EIS continuously delivers customer success as demonstrated by our numerous letters of commendation and excellent Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting (CPAR) ratings on all our contracts and task orders.

EIS was independently appraised for SEI CMMI DEV and SVC v1.3 Maturity Level 3 in June 2015.

EIS’ C&A Team led efforts that successfully raised the Army Reserve National Guard’s Network Operations FISMA Score from 64% in January 2013 to 100% in just 1 year earning our COR a Commander’s Trophy (2014).

EIS was independently appraised for SEI CMMI SVC v1.3 Maturity Level 2 and re-appraised for SEI CMMI DEV v1.3 Maturity Level 2 in April 2014.

EIS successfully certified to the ISO 27001:2005 standard in August 2013.

An EIS test and integration team received two Agile Awards from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services leadership team in October 2012, recognizing their support of Agile practices.

EIS was independently reappraised for SEI CMMI v1.3 Maturity Level 2 in April 2011.

2011 Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Meritorious Unit Citation for CRATE’s rapid Airborne ISR development and deployment.
   

An EIS application development team was awarded the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Meritorious Unit Citation for development of Airborne ISR collection management capability in January 2011.

EIS has passed our recertification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and successfully certified to the ISO 20000:2005 standard based on an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework in June 2010.

EIS' innovation and process improvement support provided significant contributions toward the USCG Aviation Logistic Center's achievement of the Alexander Hamilton Award for Innovative Management in October 2009.

EIS has been a full partner in all ISD Lean Events, resulting in continuous process improvements including the HOV Lane which significantly improved ISD productivity and won the Commandant’s Industrial Maintenance Innovation Award for ALC in 2009 by generating a projected recurring cost avoidance of $390K and a labor hour savings of 30%.

EIS was independently appraised for SEI CMMI v1.2 Maturity Level 2 in April 2008.

EIS received an outstanding performance rating in March 2008 on all four evaluation factors (i.e.: Quality of Product of Service, Cost Control, Timeliness of Performance, and Business Relations) by the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security.

EIS employee, Mr. Rick Petersen was presented with the Commandant's Award for Innovation by Admiral Thad Allen, Commandant, and Vice Admiral Vivian Crea, Vice-Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard at the U.S. Coast Guard's Innovation Expo in New Orleans, LA in November 2007.

EIS officially received our ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems registration certificate in September 2007. During the ISO 9001:2000 registration audit, the onsite auditor commended EIS for "Excellent Documentation, Excellent Employee Commitment, and High Customer Satisfaction" - A true testament to the excellence of our project team performance and their valued service to our customers.

EIS was awarded the Small Disadvantaged Business Contractor of the Year award by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service in 2005.

EIS was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in October 2004 by Maura Harty, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Department of State for implementing biometrics in the Immigrant Visa system. Award stated “For sustained, outstanding performance in developing the Bio Visa and the Security Advisory Opinion software for our Immigrant Visa system. Your work in delivering and integrating complex software to support Consular Affairs and State Department Border Security program is exemplary, and has contributed substantially to our goal of secure borders and open doors."

In December 2003, Northrop Grumman awarded EIS the 2003 Small Business Program Mentor Protégé Recognition award for providing outstanding Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support services on the FAA’s Technical Assistance Contract.

In December 2002, Northrop Grumman awarded EIS the 2002 Small Business Program Recognition Award for the outstanding IT support services on the IRS’s Integration Support Contract.
