EIS has passed our recertification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and successfully certified to the ISO 20000:2005 standard based on an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework in June 2010.

EIS has received numerous commendation letters from almost all of our current and past clients.

EIS was independently appraised for SEI CMMI Maturity Level 2 in April 2008 and reappraised in April 2011 for the V1.3 model.

EIS employee, Mr. Rick Petersen was presented wtih the Commandant's Award for Innovation by Admiral Thad Allen, Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and Vice Admiral Vivian Crea, Vice-Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard at the U.S. Coast Guard's Innovation Expo in New Orleans, LA in November 2007.

EIS oficially received our ISO 9001:2000 quality managment systems registration certificate in September 2007. During the ISO 9001:2000 registration audit, the onsite auditor commended EIS for "Execellent Documentation, Excellent Employee Commitment, and High Customer Satisfaction" - A true testament to the excellence of our project team performance and their valued service to our customers.

EIS was awarded the Small Disadvantaged Business Contractor of the Year award by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service in 2005.

EIS received an outstanding performance rating in March of 2008 on all four evaluation factors (i.e.: Quality of Product or Service, Cost Control, Timeliness of Performance, and Business Relations) by the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security.

EIS was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in October 2004 by Maura Harty, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Department of State for implementing biometrics in the Immigrant Visa system. Award stated “For sustained, outstanding performance in developing the Bio Visa and the Security Advisory Opinion software for our Immigrant Visa system. Your work in delivering and integrating complex software to support Consular Affairs and State Department Border Security program is exemplary, and has contributed substantially to our goal of secure borders and open doors."

In December 2003, Northrop Grumman awarded EIS the 2003 Small Business Program Mentor Protégé Recognition award for providing outstanding Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support services on the FAA’s Technical Assistance Contract.

In December 2002, Northrop Grumman awarded EIS the 2002 Small Business Program Recognition Award for the outstanding IT support services on the IRS’s Integration Support Contract.
