The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. This International Standard promotes the adoption of an integrated process approach to effectively deliver managed services to meet the business and customer requirements. Since June 2010, EIS has been successfully certified to the ISO 20000:2005 standard based on an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework and regularly audited for compliance. EIS has been ISO 20000:2005 certified since June 2010.

Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) is a process approach that provides organizations with the essential elements for effective software application development and integration.  It guides process improvement across a project, a division, or an entire company. CMMI integrates organizational functions, sets process improvement priorities, provides guidance for quality processes, and provides a uniform standard for appraising the maturity of current processes. CMMI is the global standard for technology integration/development efforts.  EIS has been externally appraised at CMMI Level 2 since 2007.
EVM
EIS’ Earned Value Management (EVM) Division maintains a corporate core competency that establishes, trains, and maintains the 32 ANSI/EIA 748 best practice guidelines for EVM that successfully provide strong planning and control benefits for numerous multi-billion dollar Federal programs.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a world leader in the development and dissemination of voluntary, consensus-based industry standards involving information technology, telecommunications and power generation products and services.  EIS actively promotes and applies IEEE standards in support of our Federal clients.
ITIL Logo
The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a framework for IT Service Management.  This customizable framework for Service Management spans five functional areas: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement.  These integrated functional areas compose a system that provides feedback throughout all areas of the service lifecycle.  EIS has been ISO 20000:2005 certified since June 2010.
PMI Logo
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the leading association for project management professionals.  PMI establishes and promotes professional standards, research, and access to an abundance of valuable information and resources.  PMI supports career and professional development and offers certification, networking, and community involvement opportunities.  EIS encourages all project leaders, managers, and executives to pursue and achieve PMI PMP certification. Most of EIS' Project Managers, Program Managers, and Executives are PMI PMP certified.
HDI logo
The Help Desk Institute is the world’s largest IT service and support membership association and the industry’s premier certification and training body.  Guided by an international panel of industry experts and practitioners, HDI is the leading resource for help desk/support center emerging trends and best practices.  Many EIS Help Desk/Support Center personnel maintain HDI certifications that improve support center efficiency at several Federal agencies.
CISSP
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) certification is the globally recognized standard of achievement.  Numerous EIS staff hold CISSP certifications and apply their knowledge and education to strengthen the IT security of our Federal customers.
