JV to Support ARCYBER Under $16M Task Order

Vienna, Virginia – January, 2019
Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Joint Venture (JV) LLC, a JV managed by EIS, received a 5-year RS3 Task Order Award (RS3-18-0059) on January 8, 2019 valued at $16,823,866 to provide Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Support to the United States Army Regional Cyber Center – Korea (USARCC-K), which is under the operational control of the US Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). Our primary mission on this new task order is to defend against unauthorized activity on all Army assets residing on the Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and the Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet).

Our DCO Support includes defending against external hackers who may attempt to gain unauthorized access, insider threat attempts for unauthorized access, and policy violations that may impact network security and operations. Our team consists of RS3JV (with EIS as the only performing JV Member) as the prime and two subcontractors (OCCAM Solutions, Inc. and DCi Solutions, Inc.).

In order to detect, deter, disrupt, and deny adversary activities, Team RS3JV provides support for network infrastructure security; defensive cyber assessments; network assistance visits; network, system, and web assessments; network security monitoring, detection, analysis; live incident handling analysis; cyber threat and data analysis; and computer network defense application development.

Keith Wilson and Mike Sallada from the EIS headquarters staff were instrumental in developing our technical and management solutions that secured this strategic win. We have successfully completed the transition-in phase under John Pontzer’s leadership. Our onsite team is off to a great start in meeting all of USARCC-K’s expectations.

Gary Rouse, EIS Senior VP, DoD Systems, said, “DCO Korea is a strategic win in that EIS and RS3JV now have proven capabilities in conducting OCONUS operations, which makes us more competitive on future international opportunities. It also extends our DCO core competency that we have developed for the US Air Force to the US Army, expanding our DCO presence within DoD. Congratulations to the capture, proposal development, and recruiting teams for a job well done!”
